Serenity Springs is a nationally recognized and dual-accredited treatment provider for men (inpatient) and both men and women (outpatient or IOP). We have a number of Master's level clinicians and medical professionals that specialize in dual-diagnosis treatment. This means they are comfortable and experienced with drug & alcohol dependent individuals with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Our clients and their loved ones are comfortable knowing that our client to staff ratio is actually two to one. Addiction recovery takes place on our secluded, 10-acre southern landscape. We are located in Edgewater, FL which is part of Volusia County. We provide individual and group counseling that adheres to the dual-diagnosis treatment model. This is all in addition to our outstanding, intensive, 12-step completion program. Other highlights at Serenity Springs include group support & accountability, relapse prevention, goal-setting (S.M.A.R.T.), personal ethics, communication skills, personalized fitness & training, health & nutrition, meditation, acupuncture, yoga therapy, and one-on-one sessions with a certified personal trainer. On-site activities include golfing, volleyball, fitness center (gym), fishing, and kayaking/rowing. While in treatment, clients will often go off-site for weekly surf lessons & beach outings to New Smyrna Beach (top 10 surf on east coast). Clients also are taken to local movies, bowling, and much more to help them re-familiarize their lives without drugs or alcohol in them.
