The Research and Reporting Analyst is a key role responsible for collecting, processing and fulfilling data requests for internal business operations. This role requires a combination of billing and revenue cycle knowledge, information technology proficiency, and ability to analyze data.
Essential Functions:
Assist in compiling data for various functional areas and report
Ensure data collection consistency
Assist in projects to automate data collection processes
Creation of new internal and external reports to help track KPIs
Participate in data and report training
Attend weekly meetings with management as necessary
Provide recommendations based on identified performance gaps
Identify trends and translate data into meaningful insights
Maintain strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
Compile Client revenue targets |
| Experience Required: | Education: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, finance or related field preferred.
Skills/Experience:
1-2 years of healthcare, billing, or insurance experience
Knowledge of medical billing software(s) and revenue cycle management
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Excel
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and with a focus on accuracy
Database, data analysis and report creation experience preferred
A positive attitude, the drive to succeed, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Efficient time management
Effective written and oral communication
Inquisitive and eager to learn |
