The 7^th Annual New Smyrna Beach Shrimp and Seafood Festival presented by Rue, Ziffra, and Caldwell returns to Flagler Avenue on August 21^st from 5pm to 9pm. The festival features scores of local and regional restaurants competing for bragging rights and “Best of the Beach” awards in the categories of shrimp, shell fish, fish and specialty. Besides competing against each other, their offerings are also for sale to the public in sample sizes ranging from $3 to $5. Serving sample sizes encourages guests to taste from multiple eateries and enjoy different takes on seafood using the same core ingredients. In addition to the seafood offerings, the Festival also hosts multiple entertainment locations with live bands, beverage bars and some non-seafood options for land-lovers, as well as craft vendors, community group stands and sponsor exhibits.

Flagler Avenue is located on the beachside with direct access from the North Causeway Bridge off of US1/Ridgewood. Parking is plentiful throughout the Flagler Avenue arts-entertainment-shopping district on pocket parking lots, side streets and lots behind many of the businesses. Free shuttle transportation will be available for festival guests from the North Causeway. Please look for shuttle paring and pick up location signs on the North causeway. The free shuttle service will run from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
