Safely managing the reopening of Volusia County Schools will have ramifications beyond education with a direct impact on the current and future needs of the local workforce.

Volusia County School Board member Linda Cuthbert and Interim School Superintendent Dr. Carmen Balgobin will discuss the current plans and contingencies for the coming school year. CareerSource Flagler Volusia President & CEO Robin King will talk about the changing needs of the business community in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our panelists will share their thoughts on the pandemic's impact now and in the future.

The program will include several audience poll questions to gauge member input.

While we always say the admission fee pays for the great information and connections made at Eggs & Issues and the breakfast is free, we want to do a little bit to support our members. We will be giving all registrants a $10 gift card to a local Daytona Regional Chamber member breakfast restaurant to use at your leisure. It's just one small way we can support some of our members and begin to return to some level of normalcy.
