Code To Escape

Wow, over $200 for 14 people to be locked in a 12' x 12' office to unlock 5 padlocks on a desk and 6 padlocks on a dresser in an hour...nothing else that's it. First time "escape room" player and I was super confused and disappointed with it. I've heard stories of clues unlocking new doors into a new set of puzzles, secret walls opening up, actual puzzles to solve, etc. But this was a room, with numbers and words all over it, and you had to figure out what numbers and words went to which of the 11 padlocks...nothing else.

Staff was super friendly, nice, and accommodating. The room was full of super hero props (non of which were part of the mystery or plot lol). The after picture was the coolest part of the night.

These small single room "escapes" might be fun for a group of 2-4 people, but for a large $200 party their should be some adventures and riddles involved.

Will not come back here to this one, but I'll try another one. As the people we went with talked about other adventures they'd done in Daytona that were much more involved and fun.

Bad business. Go somewhere else where they use ethical business practices. I rarely leave a negative review and love leaving reviews for those that have good business practices but this place needs a shout out for the awful service we received tonight. I purchased gift certificates for me and my family to go here for an escape room experience. I had 7 gift certificates, 1 for each person. I made an appointment yesterday for this evening. When we arrived this evening the gal at the front informed me that the owner said I could not use my gift certificates. That I could only use one for one person and we would have to pay for the rest. After almost an hour of sitting there and a non responsive owner (she wouldn't answer the employees phone calls to her) we left. The owner of this business is greedy and using unethical business practices. Gift certificates are the same as money to your business. If you are looking for a positive experience, please take your business elsewhere and DONT buy gift certificates as gifts for anyone! For the girl working behind the counter, I'm sorry. You were very kind and I can tell you are overworked and underpaid. Thanks for your kindness. You deserve better!

staff has very rude and unpleasant attitudes. tried to book a room for 4 people for 6:10 and was told we couldn't book the room
because it was booked for 7:40pm which means they didn't want US there or were being lazy and didn't want to reset the room after us either way I wouldn't recommend this escape to anyone.

We have done many escape rooms and this was one of the best ones yet! The props were amazing and well thought out. The puzzles were challenging yet still able to figure out on our own with a slight hint. I was literally startled and screamed a couple times, which added to the excitement of it all. We were worried about completing the challenge with just 2 of us, but were successful. It was definitely worth our time and money. We will be doing a different room tomorrow!

This was my first experience with an escape room and it was SO MUCH FUN. Plenty of free parking (which can be an issue in Daytona). The room my group did was the Phony Art Studio. It will definitely make you think outside the box. We ran out of time before completing our escape, but the owner kindly let us stay and figure it out because there was no one scheduled after us. The room was well thought out and clues range from simple to very difficult.
I will definitely be returning to try other rooms!

Omg! So much fun!!! We booked the witch room first...then the Russian night out then came back again for cookery and superhero! The rooms and story lines are all made up by the owners. They made all the props and did all the wiring for the special effects! Everything was well thought out and put together...to bad I'm an "over thinker," and my friend...I guess an "under thinker!???" Lol! We sucked but had a lot of fun!

We had a great time in the Tesla room. It was challenging and fun! They have many different room themes so there is something for everyone. We can't wait to try another. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

Place was pretty poppin'. It had a good playlist and the rooms were pretty alright, owner is really friendly also. Would definitely recommend smaller groups for the larger rooms, it can get pretty crowded at 12 people. Will come back with a smaller group and try another group.

This is a MUST DO if you are in Daytona! There are so many rooms to do that can range from "great for beginners" to "challenging even for enthusiasts". The puzzles are unique and well thought out and I can't speak highly enough about the staff! The manager is as sweet as can be and very accommodating! (Rooms are wheelchair accessible btw.)

This was a great activity for a rainy day. The facility was easy to find and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the challenge, had a lot fun and too many laughs to count. Great for family and friends of all ages. My favorite part was being able to have a private experience, for NO EXTRA CHARGE! This option seems to be unique to this escape room and is the reason why I chose it.
